Our Truth: How Residential Schools Have Affected Canada’s Indigenous Peoples

Join South Vancouver Neighbourhood House and the Association of Neighbourhood Houses BC for Our Truth, an important educational and community learning event that explores the history, legacy, and ongoing impacts of Canada's residential school system on Indigenous Peoples.

Taking place on the unceded traditional territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations, this session provides participants with an opportunity to deepen their understanding of Truth and Reconciliation, listen to Indigenous perspectives, and reflect on the importance of building respectful relationships and inclusive communities.
