SHIFT
SHIFT
In-class and afterschool program for grade 10's. SHIFT is an innovative gender violence prevention program. Students annually partake in four assembly presentations that are followed up with in class workshops that build on topics such as: gender stereotypes, consent, violence in media, victim blaming and sexual assault. Afterschool club provides additional leadership training for youth who would like to "shift" the climate around gender violence in their school and community.
