South Vancouver Neighbourhood Houses's family programs promote the well-being of families. Today's parents face many work and family challenges that stretch them to the limit. You are not alone. SVNH's Family Support Worker and Multicultural Family Workers can provide individual support, referrals and advocacy for families who are experiencing difficulties in their day-to-day lives. If you need help or just someone to talk to, please give us a call.

Vancouver Aboriginal Family Drop-In
A First Nation's worker is on-site to work with First Nation families with children aged 0-12 years. We have a child care worker and bus tickets available. Refreshments provided. Painting, games, beading, arts and crafts. Every week is a different theme with learning and playing. Meet families in your community. More >>

Domestic Violence Support
Community-based program to enhance the effectiveness of the mother’s efforts to keep herself and her children safe from domestic violence in the home. Services include counseling, education, advocacy, information, group activities and connecting to community resources. More >>
