Waitlist Information for Salmonberry and Salmon Stone Child Care Centres

If you would like to have your child added to the waitlist for one of our Child Care Centres, please submit the Waitlist Application Form

Notice: *Waitlist registration for Salmon Stone Child Care Centre will start on August 1^st at 7am*

Salmon Stone Programs:

• Infant (0 to 18 months) 
• Toddler (18 months to 3 years) 
• 3 to 5 Years Old 

SVNH is planning to open Salmon Stone Child Care Centre in early 2025, which will include quality licensed programs for children 0 to 5 year old. It is located at 3010 East Kent Avenue South.  

Start Date: To be confirmed 4 months before opening and subject to change. 

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5:30pm 

Salmonberry Programs: 

• Toddler (18 months to 3 years)
• 3 to 5 Years Old

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5:30pm 

Salmon Stone & Salmonberry Registration information:

1st round of registration will start 4 months before the start of the program and thereafter. 

How Our Waitlist Works: Our waitlist is not based on “first come, first served” basis. 

Priority for spaces is given to those families who we serve in the West Fraserlands neighbourhood and to those that we can offer long-term service to, in the following order: 

• Children currently enrolled in a SVNH child care and family program.  
• Children with sibling enrolled in a SVNH child care and family program. 
• Families living or working in the neighbourhood
  • Salmon Stone: Families living or working in West Fraserlands (south of Marine Way and east of Victoria Drive to Boundary Road). 
  • Salmonberry: Families living or working in Sunset (Ontario Street to Knight Street and 41^stAve to the Fraser River)
• Families living or working in Vancouver 

To support children in the Infant Program to move to the Toddler Program and Toddler Program to move to the 3 to 5 Program, we also maintain a balance of children's ages. This may impact the priority in which spaces are offered. 

If your child does not meet this age requirement, they will be placed on the waitlist for future spaces. 

Once you have submitted the online waitlist application form, there will be an automatic confirmation on the website. This means you are on the waitlist. An email confirmation will not be provided.
