Sunset Literacy Project: Implementation Phase

Literacy is the ability to understand and use printed information in daily activities at home, at work and in the community to achieve one's goals, and to develop one's knowledge and potential.  The Sunset Literacy Plan has been developed with community consultation and is now entering the implementation phase, which includes finding access to community spaces; improving communication tools for literacy services and programs; developing a mentoring program; supporting food literacy; and enhancing existing services, programs and projects that support our literacy vision and to communicate new developments with residents and service providers. 

Funded by 2010 Legacies Now and the Province of BC
