Building Welcoming & Inclusive Neighbourhoods (BWIN)

This very important program offered through SVNH is committed to building a socially just neighbourhood, defined as one that upholds and validates the values of:  inclusiveness, equality, empowerment & leadership, engagement & responsibility, and innovations. 

The program's mission is to facilitate and support full participation of newcomers in the social, cultural and economic life of the neighbourhood without discrimination.  The program's vision is to have a community integrtion process that drives changes in service provision, social relations and community dynamics.

These goals are being achieved through a variety of methods including community special events and the very popular Dialogue Circles being offered in various areas of the South Vancouver community.
