Teen to Tween Cultural Circle

Teen to Tween Cultural Circle is a free afterschool program for children, aged 8-12, who are newcomers to Canada. High school students (teens) provide friendship and mentorship to younger participants (tweens). The purpose of this program is to ease the tweens’ transition into Canadian culture and society.  Teen to Tween Cultural Circle provides a safe space for newcomer children and youth to make friends, socialize, and practice their English through game-play, arts and crafts, and field trips.
