Adult Programs

 

SVNH offers programs, services and volunteer opportunities for adults within our South Vancouver community, and always welcomes new members. Feel free to telephone drop in for program information, resources, one of our services or activities, or for a cup of coffee and a chat.


Settlement Services: 

SVNH provides one-to-one assessments and referrals for newcomers who require assistance with their settlement needs. Settlement Workers are available at the Neighbourhood House in Chinese, Punjabi, Hindi, French, and Korean and some other languages on a limited basis.

Settlement services are free and funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.

Sponsored by the UBC Law Students' Legal Aid Program, the service is offered one evening a week during the winter months and two to three days a week during the summer. More >>


LINC English Class
