Settlement Services:
SVNH provides one-to-one assessments and referrals for newcomers who require assistance with their settlement needs. Settlement Workers are available at the Neighbourhood House in Chinese, Punjabi, Hindi, Vietnamese, French, and Korean and some other languages on a limited basis.
Annual Membership Fee: $4.00

Community ESL Class
For beginners 18 years and older. Level of English competency not important, but you do need to be able to read English and you must be willing to join in conversations with the rest of the class. More >>

This women's group will consist of an introduction, sharing circle, relationships, friendships, families, boundaries, journaling and collage, getting to know yourself and spirituality. More >>

Customer Service Training Program at First Cup Kiosk
The kiosk coffee shop is used to train unemployed persons with multiple barriers to employment such as youth-at-risk and new immigrants. Kiosk trainees learn customer service and espresso coffee preparation skills. New immigrants have the chance to improve their English as well as gain other employment skills. More >>
