South Vancouver Neighbourhood House is dedicated to providing needed community space and supporting community development to make our neighbourhoods better places to live. As a non-profit society, rental income is critical in helping us fund the cost of operation. By renting at SVNH you are supporting a social enterprise that supports the community by providing vital services and programs that help build a thriving community.

Rental Details

  • To confirm a rental booking, a signed rental agreement, rental fee and damage deposit are required in advance, unless otherwise agreed upon by SVNH
  • Rentals that are cancelled at least 48 hours prior to the event will forfeit 25% of the rental fee, but will receive a full refund of the damage deposit and remaining rental fee paid.
  • Rentals that are cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged the full cost of the rental. The damage deposit will be refunded.
  • All renters are required to provide a damage deposit that will be returned in full if the rental space is left undamaged and clean as per contract requirement.
  • Renters are required to leave the space as it was found. Cleaning supplies including brooms, mops, sanitizers and garbage bags are provided by SVNH.
  • Renters can opt to have cleaning included at a cost of $75.00. (all chairs, tables, etc. must be put away by the renter)
  • Bookings during non-business hours at our Main Site (6470 Victoria Drive) will be charged extra for onsite staffing.
  • All renters will be given an orientation to the rental space prior to your rental. Rules and Conditions and a Clean-up Checklist will be attached with the Rental Agreement. All renters will be expected to abide by the rules and conditions set out in the House Rules.
  • SVNH is unable to provide free rentals, however please feel free to contact us to discuss your unique needs.

Non-Profit Rate: $20/hr
Features: Chairs, Rectangle Folding Meeting Tables and Whiteboard.
